A documentary film is the best way to tell an in-depth story.

Make It

Sometimes the best story to tell isn’t a short one.

  • A neon sign inside a glass-walled office that reads 'WHAT IS YOUR STORY?'. The office has a desk with chairs, some posters on the wall, and a few electronic devices. The scene is viewed from outside at night.

We live in world of soundbites.

We all have stories to tell. Sometimes, the best way to tell a story is to use a longer format - a documentary film. A well-made documentary doesn’t have to be the length of a feature film. The most effective documentary is the right length to tell the right story - from a few minutes to a few hours. No matter the story, a documentary film allows your audience to understand a more nuanced and complex subject than a soundbite can hope to do.

  • A top-down view of a workspace with a wooden table holding a laptop, a tablet, a cup of coffee, a pair of glasses, a book, a notebook with handwritten notes, four printed photographs, and a pair of hands writing in the notebook.

    Plan it.

It all begins with an idea. From your idea, we take the time to craft your story. Even if you only have a vague idea, we’ll sit with you and help you identify who your audience is, what your main ideas are, and plan how to best capture them using video and audio. We’ll take your idea and develop a storyboard - a visual layout of your story - to be sure we’re telling the story you want to tell.

  • Decorative wall display with words "Everyone has a story" above a wall art made of open books and drawings, and a brown leather tufted sofa in front.

    Tell it.

When we’ve helped you clarify what story you want to tell and how best to tell it, the fun begins. We’ll develop a shot list, finalize your script, record your narration, film B-roll (background footage), and primary footage, including interviews. We’ll put it all together using the storyboard as our guide, and deliver it to you for the final touches, including motion graphics and music. We’ll tweak it until you’re completely satisfied.
